Frida Nathania
Frida’s encounter with piano started when she was 6 years old enrolling at Maria Ibrahim Music School Bandung under the guidance or Ms. Maria herself. She continue her piano lesson until in 2003, she started her first teaching career as a piano and music teacher in Bandung, teaching in Maria Ibrahim Music School, the place where she learned music. While enrolling in Accounting Major at Christian Maranatha University, Frida pursue her Piano Performance Diploma of ABRSM and obtain it in 2009.
In 2011, Frida was admitted to Berklee College of Music where she studied for two and a half years majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production. Among others, she was awarded Berklee Achievement Scholarship and Berklee Financial Grant during her study. She was also listed in Deans List Spring, Summer & Fall 2011, Spring & Summer 2012 and Spring 2013. In May 2013, Frida graduated her Professional Diploma with a summa cum laude and in January 2015, Frida joined Gloriamus Music School (Sekolah Musik Gloriamus), teaching piano and music theory.
Aside from teaching, she is actively involved in various professional music activities in studio recording, musical workshops and orchestral performance work with Aminoto Kosin Orchestra and Dian HP Orchestra. She is also doing arrangement works for various events, like recently her arrangement work as String Arranger for Indonesian Idol 2018.
On top of all her works, Frida gave her best to The Lord Jesus Christ by serving at various music ministries in her home church Gereja Utusan Pantekosta Jemaat Bandung since her young age as Choir Accompanist, Music Director and only recently as Music Coach aiming at giving proper basic fundamental for various level of Church’s musician.
