HISTORY
Gloriamus School of Music was founded on January 20, 1991 on the preeminent need of developing a symphony orchestra for church music in Gereja Kristus Yesus as well as delivering music education to nurture musical talents among a wide range of age.
As an institution, Gloriamus School of Music has its own students and therefore serves as a permanent longtime source of musician candidates for the growth of church music.
We believe that a high standard musicianship is among what will cautiously keep the continuous existence of church music in a discerning progress throughout the years to come.
Hence our vision and mission are as the following:
To establish a classical-music institution that strives to preserve church classic repertoires as a contribution to the general development of music in Indonesia.
MISSIONTo offer systematic (curriculum based) programs that lead to a qualified music appreciation as well as performance of church classic repertoires.
