A. Below 10 years or born after 10 November 2009 (Pendaftaran IDR 700.000)

Preliminary Round (maximum duration of 4 minutes)

·       1 piece from Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach and

·       1 piece of Burgmuller op.100 or 1^st movt of any Sonatine from Kuhlau/ Diabelli/ Dussek/ Clementi.

Final Round (maximum duration of 3 minutes)

·       1 piece of Schumann for Young/ Bartok for Children/ Kabalevsky for Children/ Tchaikovsky for Young/ Mendelsson op.19/ Debussy Children Corner.

 

B. Below 14 years or born after 10 November 2005 (Pendaftaran IDR 800.000)

Preliminary Round (maximum duration of 6 minutes)

·       1 piece from Bach Little Prelude BWV 924-930 or 933-938 or Invention 1-15/ Telemann Fantasia/ 1^st movt of Scarlatti Sonata and

·       1 piece of Burgmuller op.105 or 1^st movt of any Sonatine from Haydn/ Mozart/ Beethoven.

Final Round (maximum duration of 5 minutes)

·       1 piece of Schubert Impromptus/ Debussy Preludes or Arabesque/ Bartok Romanian Dances/ Scriabin Preludes/ Grieg op.43 or op.54 or Holberg Suite/ Chopin Waltz/ Mendelsson Song Without Words/ Ibert Histories.

 

C. Below 19 years or born after 10 November 2000 (Pendaftaran IDR 900.000)

Preliminary Round (maximum duration of 8 minutes)

·       1 piece from Bach Sinfonia/ 3 part invention/ French Suite/ Partitas/ Italian Concerto and

·       1^st movt of any Sonata from Haydn/ Mozart/ Beethoven/ Clementi.

Final Round (maximum duration of 7 minutes)

·       1 piece of Ginastera Danzas Argentinas/ Schumann Novelette or Romanzen/ Brahms Klavierstuck or Scherzo/ Faure Barcarolle or Impromptu/ Ravel Valses Nobles or Toccata/ Kachaturian Toccata/ Schoenberg Klavierstuck/ Chopin Preludes or Nocturnes/ Poulenc Toccata or Impromptus/ Bartok Suite op.14/ Debussy Suite Bargamasque.

 

D. Below 27 years or born after 10 November 1992 (Pendaftaran IDR 1.000.000)

Preliminary Round (maximum duration of 10 minutes)

·       1 piece from Bach Prelude&Fugue or Toccata or English Suite/ Hindemith Ludus Tonalis and

·       1^st movt of any Sonata from Haydn/ Mozart/ Beethoven/ Clementi.

Final Round (maximum duration of 9 minutes)

·       1 piece of Chopin Etudes or Polonaise/ Liszt Paganini or Transcendential or Waldestauschen or Gnomenreigen or 3 Concert Etudes/ Prokofiev op.2/ Rachmaninov Preludes/ Scriabin Etudes/ Stravinsky Etudes/ Bartok op.18/ Debussy Dances or Pour le Piano/ Saint Saens 6 Concert Etudes.

A. Below 9 years or born after 10 November 2010 (Pendaftaran IDR 700.000)

Preliminary Round

• Ferdinand Kuchler: Violin Concertino in D Major op.15, 1^st movement (maximum duration of 6 minutes) and
• 1 piece/sonata/concerto chosen by the participant (maximum duration of 5 minutes)

      Final Round (maximum duration of 5 minutes)

• 1 piece chosen by the participant (must be different from preliminary round)

 

B. Below 14 years or born after 10 November 2005 (Pendaftaran IDR 800.000)

Preliminary Round

• Antonio Vivaldi: Violin Concerto in A minor KV.356, 3^rd movement. (maximum duration of 4 minutes) and
• 1 piece/sonata/concerto chosen by the participant (maximum duration of 7 minutes)

Final Round (maximum duration of 7 minutes)

• 1 piece chosen by the participant (must be different from preliminary round)

 

C. Below 19 years or born after 10 November 2000 (Pendaftaran IDR 900.000)

Preliminary Round

• Joseph Haydn: Violin Concerto no. 2, 1^st movement with cadenza (maximum duration of 8 minutes) and
• Johann Sebastian Bach: Preludio from Partita no.3 in E Major for Solo Violin BWV 1006 (maximum duration of 4 minutes)

     Final Round (maximum duration of 8 minutes)

• 1 piece chosen by the participant

 

D. Below 29 years or born after 10 November 1990 (Pendaftaran IDR 1.000.000)

Preliminary Round

• Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Violin Concerto no. 5 in A Major KV. 219, 1^st movement with cadenza. (maximum duration of 10 minutes) and
• 1 Virtuosic piece by Sarasate, Wieniawski, Saint-Saens, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Ysaye, Waxman, Hubay, Paganini (maximum duration of 8 minutes)

Final Round (maximum duration of 15 minutes)

• 1^st or 3^rd movement of Romantic period Violin Concerto.
